We had the greatest time at our FIRST market last week! It was so fun to see you all and share the first round of goods for the season.
In the days after market, we got the majority of our peppers, tomatoes, melons and squash out of the seed house and into the field and continued to prep beds for future plantings. Biz & Sadie had a little night in the kitchen making pesto with beet greens after thinning out the Chioggias & Boldors beets. Jars of pesto will be available at the market tomorrow!
If you are in the need of eggs - check out our market neighbors Jocko Valley Farm for some beautiful pasture raised eggs & other goodies. Claire & Ben rock.

Rhubarb Jam from last week's market-
-3/4 weight of rhubarb in preferred sweetener (I used white sugar and maple syrup)
- lemon wedges
- salt
1. Cut rhubarb in small chunks and layer in a large bowl with sugar and lemon wedges and a sprinkle of salt. Let sit for a few hours until rhubarb is soft and starting to release some juices
2. Put rhubarb in a large pot over medium heat with the rest of the sweetener
3. Bring to a boil and then simmer 15ish minutes until rhubarb is falling apart.
